La nostra storia

Nel luogo dove attualmente c'è il rifugio, durante la Prima Guerra, era stato costruito un piccolo villaggio militare.
Qui infatti passava la prima linea del fronte austro-ungarico.
Our history
In the place where the shelter is currently located,
during the First World War,
a small military village was built.
In fact, the first line of the Austro-Hungarian front passed here.

In seguito, nei primi anni '70, per volere della guida alpina Bepi Zac, sorse il primo rifugio in legno, come punto di appoggio per gli escursionisti.

Later, in the early 70s, at the behest of the Alpine guide Bepi Zac, the first wooden refuge was built as a support point for hikers.

Nel 2004 il rifugio è stato ristrutturato da Floriano Pellegrin, figlio di Bepi Zac, che attualmente lo gestisce con l'aiuto della sua famiglia. I figli Gabriel e Sebastian rappresentano la terza generazione che ha scelto di dedicarsi al lavoro sulle terre alte.

In 2004 the refuge was renovated by Floriano Pellegrin,
son of Bepi Zac,
who currently manages it with the help of his family.
The sons Gabriel and Sebastian represent the third generation to choose to dedicate themselves to working in the highlands.
